Coach Tayler Sartin
Bio
I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I was a gymnast for 16 years. Once gymnastics ended after high school, I was searching for some other competitive sport that used my strength and flexibility and challenged me both physically and mentally every day. The moment I completed my first CrossFit WOD, I was hooked.
CrossFit has helped me realize that it is more important, healthy, and way cooler to be strong rather than skinny and pushed me to strive for biceps and a six pack rather than thigh gaps and visible ribs. My favorite thing about CrossFit is that it makes everyone realize that they are way stronger than they ever thought they were and that their bodies can do things they never thought were possible.
Since graduating from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota in 2018 with a major in Spanish and extensive background in exercise science, I have been passionate about learning how the human body moves, heals, and pushes towards and beyond our physical and mental limits. I found that CrossFit is the perfect field to explore health and human performance as well as apply my exercise science education. I strive to share my knowledge, learn from others, and get people to use the word “fun” and “workout” in the same sentence.
